Eastman wash-off dyes came in tubes. They were sold as sets of 3:
- A: cyan
- B: magenta
- C: yellow
Each tube of powder is diluted in 500ml of boiled distilled water. Boil the distilled water, and allow to cool to 95 degrees before adding the dye. After dissolving, allow the mixted dye to cool to room temperature (70F). After the mixed dye is cool, add 4ml of formalin to each 500ml dye solution. Filter the dyes and store in stoppered bottles.
These dyes were used in the Wash off relief process, in addition to being used in autotype color processes.
