My lasting question about terror plots is

why airplanes

and secondary

why tall buildings

I understand why bombs. That’s because it’s simple chemistry. And besides they go “boomb” and toss things around. They even turn people into tossed around things and pieces.

But chemistry is harder than biology. Any fool can learn enough biology to be dangerous. It must be because of prior paths, because of easier information access. Which means that we are in fear of the lazy, the unimaginative, the uncreative.

And, yep, I’ve always known that.

Ah hah, just realized. Bombs are instantaneous. They happen now! That is what an explosion is. A contained rapid combustion. Something turning into gas so rapidly that it breaks free of its container.

They choose to explode. They choose to crash and burn. But what do we choose?

America has chosen to follow them. Noble of us. Heroic.
