War Resolution

Revenge got in your way. Fear, the only factor you considered. And you disobeyed the fundamentals of analysis. The first rule of finding answers: “If a thing does not exist where it is more likely to exist, it will not exist where it is less likely to exist.” It is a fundamental of logic and rhetoric taught in liberal education for centuries. Apparently no longer found in our over educated, K-Street Cowboys.

But maybe it was that the UN was doing the work. Perhaps its UN hatred that got us into the Iraq Trap. Recall that the UN inspectors said that nothing was found. It didn’t exist where it was most likely to exist. It wasn’t where it had been. It wasn’t where the CIA said it would be. So what made us think it was where the commissioned spies said it must be somewhere. Somewhere over the rainbow, somewhere they couldn’t tell.

Can you trust those leaders who can’t admit error, any more than you can trust those you can’t believe?
