The difference in power. In symbolic importance. The differences in standing. Standing in or standing out. Perhaps that should be out standing standing out. These differences don’t scale well. These are status differences and they affect some much more than others. Like tectonic pressure, they will find a fault. And along the line of difference it will grow. Eventually a quake must occur. We see this often in societies that have many markers – when bling is da bing.
This past week we have seen the Quake take over at Virginia Tech. Our commentary that attempts to “adjectivally” castrate Cho , build us up, but it only prepares the ground for more quakes.
