My suggestion that 08 begin as a pledge for ” No Hate for 8 in 08″ lasted less than a fortnight. We are well past the Deb8 and into the phraseland … No Way 08, Too Late 08, No Hope 08. The winner of each party will limp into a General Election full of hatred, fear and revenge. Both parties will lose their base and appeal to the baser nature. Their winning won’t gain the citizens any goal worthy of democracy. To bad, maybe next time around.
