Busier than now. I have been an electric turtle in the digital sea for awhile. You probably won’t understand that. At times, I don’t. Nevertheless a report, the first in this new category. I will, eventually, make longer records, but that will be someplace else, perhaps under another pen name, perhaps not.

I have been scanning film to digital for several months. Recently, this week, I began using SilverFast. It seems oddly clunky, as though it had been made by someone who didn’t use software. Understand, I work at the command line. I don’t ship from the command line. Anyhow this piece of software is only the second in 8 years that has “hung” my mac. that takes something. that takes a blog post. that is this post about that something. be wary of SilverFast on a PPC mac. beware the hung mac.
