In this “tough economy” the excuse given is “this is a tough economy.”

If you can think of three events that will tank your company over the next year, yet can not think of ways to avoid them, then you are at the ‘even odds’ stage of failure/success.

If you think that the world will save you, or are waiting for the world to rescue you, then you will fail. Of course, thinking that you will save the world is even more foolish. However, it is possible for you to save yourself.

Reconsider what you have failed to do. Reconsider what is limiting you. Do you have a way out? If the answer is that you don’t see what, then my answer to you is your end is approaching faster than you know. Even faster than next year.
