A few people have responded to my “over and over and over” rant by asking me if I’ve considered taking time off, taking a break, do something else that interests me…

Well yes, I’m going to be doing that.

But you’re missing the goddamn point, Sirs.

I can count on one hand the number of creative people that surprise me with what they produce. And I know a lot of photographers and follow even more of them on various social media.

I’m not saying that what you or you or you shoot isn’t a creative outlet or cathartic to you. I’m not saying its not beautiful or doesn’t deserve respect. I’m not trying to diminish what anyone creates. If shooting the hairs on knuckles makes you happy, keep on doing it!! Seriously.

I’m just saying I’m bored with the visual monotony of model photography.

And photographers and models should try to step outside their comfort zone and outside of their box and try something new.

Myself included.
