Water Rights

Dead to rights…
At the Food Store, in the water isle. Going for your favorite flavored water, you notice a short woman looking at the shelves. The space for your favorite is almost empty. The last few bottles are on the top shelf, to the back, just out of easy reach. This may take the monkey arms…

“Excuse me, those are mine…”

Turning, you see the woman who had been standing across from the water shelves was pointing to the bottles you were stretching to retrieve.

Suppose I’d been in a wheel chair, would it have been mine?
Suppose she’d dropped the bottle and broken it, would she have paid for it?
When was it hers, and why not mine?
Why was she angry? Why didn’t she think that we could share? and what would the share have been. How would we divide those 3 bottles?
Possession is the only point to the law.
