Obama was not a pacifist when he was elected to the Senate, nor when he was overwhelmingly elected President. He continued the Bush War and kept the Warriors In Place. Why would anyone be surprised that he would engage the US military in Libya? He acted too late, but he did act. Too late because the action will not cut off, will not stanch the advance quickly enough, nor sufficiently enough to permit the revolution to achieve early, easy success.
Our time to strike, was early and was by peaceful action. By waiting for the committee to report, the font to be selected, the colors of the background slides be perfected, the wording to be field tested; all these actions, as though he were preparing a journal piece for the KstreetY, means that the battle will be longer and bloodier.
