The key to customer service. Beat their expectation, not yours. If you can’t do better than the customer expects, then they will not remain a customer. Pointing out the legalese, or the original package, or the onsite footnotes will not retain customers, nor develop your brand. Lawyers play to lose, it increases hourly billing. Don’t let lawyers run your business, or they will run you out of business.
