Libya is the example.
Once the guns come out, the innocent die.

The arc of resistance has been demonstrated quite well over the past weeks. Resistance comes before change. The breaks are the fastest way to stop the car. But in Libya we are shown that as the resistance becomes violent, there are no bystanders.

If you wait for peace, you may rest it peace. Once the guns come out, you either get out of there, or you must take up weapons. Choose your side. Pick your target. Take action. Otherwise, you die, one way or another.

Gnl. Petraeus retires this year. No future specified. Skips the biggest job in the military to retire, plant roses, write up his after action notes, I doubt it. Boom boom. America makes a PP.

Revolution Means Escalation!

At some time, you must remove their power. Take away the tool they use.
This doesn’t mean you must control it, hold it, use it. All you have to do is render it useless to them, your enemy. This is sometimes possible by “poisoning the well,” other times it means you must “burn the bridges.”
No matter the tactic you use, the escalation must be controlled by the rebel. To win, you must move faster, while moving against your enemy only. Do not be manipulated into moving against your friends.
