if torture works, ie, it extracts necessary secrets, then
the prisoners we have tortured have revealed necessary secrets.
what about those prisoners we released. those persons that we were told were enemy, yet turned out not to be.
what fictitious secrets did they tell us that we acted on.
are there fictions, their escape clauses, the attacks that we prevented
—
what secret plans do you have that we can extract?
would it be easier if you turn in your enemies?
what if everyone we capture turns in their enemy?
are they working for us, or we for them?

Tortured Logic: 2
if torture works, ie, it extracts necessary secrets, then
the Al Qaieda leaders we have tortured revealed the Al Qaeda secrets
since they knew the location and techniques of Osama Bin Laden
they told us this information, so we know Osamas methods and locations
—
since we haven’t captured Osama,
we didn’t have the leaders, or
torturing them didn’t extract secrets, or
we have Osama, or
torture does not reveal enemy action/intention.
