Senator McCain’s dominance over Senator Obama’s campaign was brief. So short that it should be called a flash. Waggishly,
a flash in the Palin.
From this chart you see that McCain’s lead was very short (that spike into his Red side of the chart) It peaked September 8th and was lost by the 17th. It peaked ten days after Governor Palin was announced, five days after she gave her convention speech. The end of Senator McCain’s lead was just four days after SNL expressed their opinion of Candidate Palin. The campaign never held a lead, instead, they continued losing points in the national polls.http://widgets.nbc.com/o/4727a250e66f9723/4914862ab2dd871d/48cd3b64ddb82bd0/6e0d0025/-cpid/25e76eb0bdeeaf87/clipID/656281/video_title/Saturday+Night+Live+-+Palin+%2f+Hillary+Open/video_imgurl/http%3a%2f%2fvideo.nbc.com%2fplayer%2fmezzanine%2fimage.php%3fw%3d350%26h%3d196%26path%3dnbc2%2f5f58cfc6032c04210186bd87371513ed_mezzn.jpg%26hash%3d6260da8bea101631e30ba79b828b37e9/video_url/http%3a%2f%2fwww.nbc.com%2fSaturday_Night_Live%2fvideo%2fclips%2fpalin-hillary-open%2f656281%2f/video_description/Gov.+Palin+and+Senator+Clinton+address+the+nation?storeInPid=true
