Yesterday, September 11th, was marked by speakers in Manhattan. They tried to be evocative. Sadly, they had to rely upon words of century dead writers. Sad that they weren’t moved enough to create, to compose, to have considered this tragedy enough to have a feeling of their own. A sad day.
