Do riches come to the smart, or does “smarts” come to the richer? Are you rich because you are smart or are you smart because you are rich? Which? Is the richest the smartest?
You shouldn’t still be wondering about these questions. You also shouldn’t still be hearing them, even masked versions, yet on talk radio, in KStreet clubs, you will.
A joke was told about the difference between Soviet and US reporting. The story reported by the Soviets was about a car race between the Soviet team and the US auto racing team. The US team came in first, while the Soviets placed second. The headline in Soviet Newspapers read:
Soviets Place Second while disappointed US team came in second to last.
FOX news learned this tactic well. Bushovism remains strong, at least on the talk circuits.
