There are two things we can say about Sarah Palin, she is a beauty queen and a journalist. Being precise we should say that she is a failed beauty queen, also a failed journalist. She did not succeed in either role. Which of course confirms our wagish observation that rather than being far from politics, she is the definition of a politician. She, having failed at every other venture has gone finally into the one thing she can do well. Tell tales about her grand past, convincing us to reward her forever, she has become a politician.
