On a digital black and white list I monitor a notice appeared that sent me to the Cone Piezography site. This quote of praise prompted a purchase, not just of the ink but of the printer.
“The most beautiful print color since Agfa Brovira, perfect screen match, tack sharp, deep and detailed shadows… Spectacular product.”

The site proffered this:
Piezography® K6 Special Edition. This is a brand new Piezography product I purposely built for the EPSON 1400 printer. It includes a unique ink set, new version profiles, and soft proofing. It also is the first Piezography product to include the new cartridge-less CIS system. — Cone Ad
So, I bought it. I loved Brovira. Actually loved the Agfa product line. So much that I overcame my distaste, although with a hell of a lot of searching and examination, over German products that had profited under Hitler. Anyhow, I spent the $370 for the K6 Special edition. It has been here since the fourteenth. It works. But.
I know, I have high expectations, even higher hopes. It isn’t Brovira. It is an okay system, one that I will give more time than the two weeks I’ve spent.
I took cybersnaps of the delivery on that tuesday and will post them with more info, then you can make your own decision.
