Thinking again. McChrystal and his staff need to feel the battle. They cannot handle the pressure of the press and civilian responses. Therefore let them take their fuck finger from under their shorts and get into the war. Get to where the war sounds and smells hit them.

Issue a direct order that Gnl McC is to remain deployed to the field of command within one hour of any firefight or enemy action. He is to hit the field and to remain there issuing hourly reports until the Afghan conflict is favorably and conclusively ended.

Hourly reports. Each and every hour issue a status update to the White House.

Issue this as a direct order. See if the dog knows his master’s voice now.

I lived for a while with a grenade. It was quick to pop and kept the assholes like McChrystal alert. It was a safety.
The only way to maintain general order is to issue them the one standing order they understand. Make them snap to attention when you enter, and keep them there.
