Yesterday, Saturday March 14, terror struck Atlanta and Manhattan. Residents of both cities began recovering from their first fearful fantasy that they were under terrorist attack. Unfortunately the attacks were accidental and natural. Actually, they were both natural, although the Manhattan attack was a Manmade Mistake. The most frequent kind of accident. Curse you gravity, curse you. Big things make big boombs, making bigger news in a nation of perpetual fear. Their lives will recover. Their property will be repaired, after suitable filings and motions. However, we remain a nation in perpetual fear. When every tragic accident, every storm, every edition will have the “I thought it was a bomb…We thought it was an attack..” Then comes the official “It is not a terrorist attack.” The man in the cave has won, because we have only one reaction, fear first, fear forever.

McCain’s Lemonade
Senator McCain has a significant problem. He is being pushed into selling from the Warriors Lemonade Stand. No one should ever buy a used war, particularly if it is from an old warrior with no other credential. Never buy a house from a pyromaniac, even if it is a fire sale offer.
