Judge politicians by how they treat the extremes. To get you started, think the wealthy, the poor, the able bodied, the disabled, the … the ~… :: if they favor the … over the ~… , then you know how they will treat you. Imagine that your … status changes. Who provides you aid, hope your insurance covers that or are you “like totally” self reliant. If you are so self reliant, you probably don’t read. Certainly you don’t read English. You’ve made up your own language to better hear yourself.

Personality isn’t a continuum. It isn’t a continuous function. It is a set, an array of positions. A complex (many featured) arrangement, but the interviewee makes effort to match his answer to the range made available. He is willing to adapt, to copy in order to get it right. If the private space is pruned regularly to fit a public expression, and if this is done well, the person is rearranged. The person moves to that “expression level” and has a different coefficient of opinion and thereby action.
