A nice thing about film is that you don’t have to do many pictures to feel as though you were working. Everything is slowed down; everything has a hold point that can take as much of the day as you want. Even with this, sometimes you get to make a picture. But you don’t have to.

long morning walk with 3 cameras takes 20 minutes to unload cards, change batteries, and set swapped batteries to charging. Just enought time for water to boil, tea to steep, and check email.
