One of the geeat things about being able to pick and choose, is to pick and choose.
For most people, even with that freedom, they don’t , because they cant. They accept every, and all, thinking that will fill their gap. And they continue empty, because, of course, their choice didn’t; it can’t.
the better the choice, the better the art
An ad tempts you into a storyline, but art hasn’t since the Medici.
in order to sell, salesmen tell stories about the art, the artist, the materials, the… hell they talk until you write the damn check.
Artist talk; tell each other tales, but if they are driven to word, they write.
Story telling art is for children,so they can follow along. Mostly so they shut up and you get to listen to music
It is an opinion, how can that be false?
Hmm, all Jews are evil: just an opinion, right (see: adolf schicklgruber)
How about a benign one: All trees are secret invaders from Tauria#34. Funny, or a symptom?
An opinion which holds a false premise, will be false.
If someones opinion is false, in your opinion, should you hold that it is true?
Just not for you.
But suppose it is an opinion about a minor thing; like art.?
Then why do you have to care what my opinion is? It is, after all, a minor thing to you, right?
When I say an art opinion, i.e., aesthetic stance is wrong or false, it is because it leads downhill, or over the ledge.
Can I be wrong?
Yes. But that also means I can be right. Maybe you can too; if you thought it through.
If any opinion is right, about anything, anytime, then there is nothing left to be said, by anyone, anywhere…
