The new wage rates for Texas were announced yesterday at a press conference in Austin. The main, in fact, the only take away is that minimum wage is:
whatever we want to pay, and we don’t report.
A wag was heard remarking:
AKA, We don’t ask, we don’t tell.
Notice that the next business day should have been the 5th, but is instead the 6th of May…. Who Knew. Happy lime to yall down in Dalli.
