When I see this I realize again how foolish the Friedman-esque statement about “Mercenaries” was. Remember, most of the soldiers in Vietnam when this Pay Stub was issued signed up. They were “RA”, not “US.”I was one of the very few draftees in that first build up. I knew no other “US” in my MOS in my unit.
