the worst food in america

is at vegetarian restaurants. not because of the vegetables, but because the cooks try too hard to “flavor” the veg. the only way they know is to use salt. it is as though they don’t trust the taste of the vegetable itself. maybe they are vegetarian out of remorse, or punishment, so they want it to taste like bacon, or seared steak, or …. the way to dull the tastebud is even all tastes to a low common value.
that’s why, when I travel, i can’t eat at vegetarian restaurants. their food sucks the flavor right outta my tongue
