Deregulated Energy. Burned Man. Bad Medicine

the utility industry is deregulated. This, according to famous Texan’s such as the Bushs and members of the Brothers Gramm Fairy Tale Society is a better thing for everyone. The market has its own, very perfect, mechanism, like clouds falling from the sky and such.

A couple years ago a worker was so badly burned in a power line accident that he has lived for two years without a face. He has been alive but blind, without lips or facial features such as nose, or even eyebrows. He had no insurance when he was injured. Too bad for him, right? So they say. After all we have the best Insurance Care System in the world. Fortunately for Mr. Wiens some of our Insurance Care System was altered by last years Congress. These modifications allowed him to be covered by his father’s insurance. This meant that the team of dedicated providers of Insurance Care at Brigham & Womens hospital in Boston felt assured they would be paid for their time and dedication, therefore, they performed the surgery.

the foolish thing is that Mr. Wiens will be returning to Texas where he will need much more medical care. That care is less likely, the more that the Brothers Gramm are allowed to legislate. Jeb Hensarling and Governor Parry would like to do away with Medicaire, the only support Mr. Wiens will likely have available to pay his dedicated Dallas Doctors for his, best in the world, Insurance Care.
