Regurgitate or deregulate, had to understand the great debate in this energy state that can’t keep the lights on
We have just had the 10th power outage since september. Not even during the Enroning of California was it that bad in California. But then, in that state we tossed out the governor, then began building alternative energy, low power networks and compute centers, just in case the Governator couldn’t fix anything. As it turned out he couldn’t fix anything, but the Feds and the power of subpoena could. Then the crooks at the crooked E lost their company. Some of the complacent just lost their job.
So how the years change. Texas deregulated but… has only one energy servicer, supplier. Many sales and marketing companies, but only one big time provider. So how are things going? How does this fine day map out regarding outages? Let’s compare the two styles or archetypes of consumer. In one map ALL of California. In the other map only the Dallas Metroplex. There are fewer outages in all California than in the Dallas Metroplex.
Texas Media blames “the storm”, high winds, for the outages. Yep, there is high wind, but, and this is critical to know, Dallas power lines are underground. Wind doesn’t blow underground. Most of the power for free standing or large commercial builders has been underground for more than a decade, yet the media blames wind for the outages, thereby excusing that lack of infrastructure and service commitment on the part of capital.

I wanted to compare apples to apples, say New York to Dallas, but then Texas doesn’t grow apples, not even oranges and the peach season is already over. It only last a couple weeks. So instead I checked on San Francisco and found that they have an outage. Expected to last a couple of hours and it affects 1 to 49 people.

So, if you want to pay no taxes, pay tolls on all key roads, pay three different utilities, make a dozen calls every few weeks to get the power or the gas turned back on, then come to the energy state.
No taxes. No lights. Only Rick Perry shooting blanks with a borrowed gun.
