Headlines announce that it is too late to avoid the downturn. That we are in rolling recession. That any action will take to long to avert an economic slump, downturn, or recession. By too late they should mean decades too late. We can’t even agree on what an economy should look like, or even what it looks like. How and economy functions is seen differently. Among most of you it is treated as though it were gravity, or friction. Something that is a result of natural, inert, universal forces. As though, even the birds and the bees, everywhere and forever rely on economic forces and live a life based upon financial engineering. The economy is sacred, untouchable. There has been surrender. There will be blame.
