WWII Saved Us From Depression

Amity Shlaes has a book, “The Forgotten Man: A New History of the Great Depression” the key part of which, is the subend “A New History.” The gist of this new, but very popular herstory, is that the Depression ended because of World War II, aka, “the big one.” So the next time you see her, or if you hear someone repeat this reversioning of the story, ask them:

Isn’t it great that World War Two came along to save us. Otherwise, ya know, we would still be in the great depression. Oh calamity!

When Detroit Collapses

Yep, the anti worker revolution has developed a new path to reason.

Union workers make too much money.

Therefore after their collapse, the foreign companies will pick up the pieces to provide our manufacturers with jobs. Those jobs will come with a 30% reduction in base pay, no retirement fund, etc. We the confederate states of america will be the low price labor of Japan and Germany.

Imagine how happy and prosperous our country will be after our workforce wages drop by a third. Imagine how great it will be after a quarter of our skilled high paid workers have no retirement. Oh what a glorious place it will be, this land that is free. Whoopee!
