Obama Flop

I’m considering phrases for what is happening in the Obama tenure. It seems that Barack Obama has a tendency to appear liberal to conservatives, while catering to, or appointing, conservatives to positions of influence. This occurred, according to TV reporters, at law school. It occurs in speeches, with conservatives reporting that what HE says appeals to them, but what he does, disappoints. President Obama is not a liberal. He is not a new liberal; not an old liberal.

Barack Obama was elected president as a democrat. It appears that he will have to be re-elected as a republican. He seems convinced that his “friends” won’t desert him in 2012. I’m convinced they will. Maybe he is thinking that he has some control over his opponent. He does not.

Moving to the center stage means control of both curtains while holding the spotlight. Not something this generation tolerates; not something our leaders can do.
