There are two types of conservatives, but neither has reason to doubt their opinion, nor to consider your differing one.
The first type of conservative gets their information from God; the other gets theirs from incontrovertible science of Economics. Therefore neither needs to listen to any other view than their own.
These facts of faction explain why conservatives have to have liberals to think or create.
