Have downloaded the Photoshop SDK for Mac. Now pluging (:) through the examples … looks like XCode, but also like converted “to” xcode … Xcode was never my favorite dev environment. At least the Adobe Forums seem to be monitored regularly. [ part of my reaching toward the perfect print ] The command line test routines have been stubbed out. Pretty easy since I’m taking from old/dead/abandoned projects. Much like photographing in ghost towns. Code has such a low dynamic range … Those command lines will eventually be used by the plugin, or from cmd by a knowledgeable user.

Slow Boat Photo
The photography industry operates slowly. I constantly find the order processing of vendors to be horrid. Unfortunately, no company offers better speed of delivery, nor more efficient fulfillment … The latest example.
- Place order on Thu. Choose 3Day UPS.
- Fri vendor ships order.
- Delivery expected Wed.
Of course this 3 day service takes 5 days, but that isn’t the photo suppliers fault, right? The worse thing is that the equipment will be handled over the weekend, moved, stored and moved again for the full five days. It is a bad, but persistent problem. One that lowers the quality expectations of this industry. It acts as though there is no need to live with creative energy, focused urgency.
