I Just Have To Warn You

Unfortunately my new TV has much too good a sound system. At least it is too good for my old alarm system, the one linking my smoke detectors around the cabin. I noticed this after calling the service company out to test the detectors. They have been going off, but without marking a zone of origin. They were talking to each other saying alarm, but not able to say what alarmed them… Odd, the thing that was common was that I was watching CNBC and Maria Baritiromo had gone into her shrill mode. You know the one, when there isn’t anything to say, but is still time to say it. Shrill also kicks in when she talks louder. She plays her voice like a bad wind instrument. As she plays louder or faster, she changes pitch. This defect seems common these days. I gave up listening to CBS when they brought in Cotton Couric as anchor. Perhaps they could get together, Cotton and Mari, to do vocals for the midnight test pattern.

Bringing to close another broadcast day.

Why They’re There And You Aren’t

They are trader-tainers, not there for you to make money. They are on TV to have fun, gain fame, dance, prance, maybe romance, but they won’t make you money. As long as you understand that, you can enjoy the flickering, bickering, even the snickering. Be a viewer, not a consumer. As a for instance, I have traded using two methods over the past ten months. The first, run counter to advice. Gain: 30%. The second, trade what you know, not what you’re told. Gain: over 80%. Thanks, Mike and Paul from long ago…
