A Long Night In Cambridge

The widely known equation, E=mc2, may have a small hole. The universal constant, c, may not be an absolute anymore.
Researchers in Italy are checking their work to confirm that there are “things” that travel faster than light.
Meanwhile in the US, we have long ago forgone big-science as a big waste, it isn’t economical. It isn’t economics, the field in which we count cars in the parking lot to predict whether faculties are too liberal.
I expect that the lights in Cambridge, LANL, and Livermore will be on all night tonight, maybe even tomorrow.
Fellows, if you want to do big science, to do big thinks, you have to leave the US behind.

We did it to ourselves.
