Google ads are those globs of words and phrases that you buy hoping that those internet seekers will come to your webpage. These are the nickels and dimes used to build googles mighty billions. So how good are they?

Search for “dark rooms san francisco” to find that google thinks you mean:You are the target of Target. Clearly, google took a shot in the dark at this search. I doubt that this counts as Targets market, but I also know that it is counted in Google’s “views” for Target.

The virtual horizon seems to lack any base or standard of measure so what used to take forty years to fall into the past now takes less than a decade before it can be reclaimed as your own.

In the midst of the search engine buildout there were no less than seven such tools allowing the searcher to build results from multiple engines, sub select against them, value results for emphasis, etc. The feature list went to several pages.

That a journalist missed it, no biggy. That those with ‘the vibe of the Shire’ missed it, means they have no vibe. Their Lord is dead.
