Has anyone else noticed that as a company creates wealth, that those present at the beginning gain wealth and leisure. The founders do less and less as they take more and more. They become the picture at the entrance. They become a press release. Oh what a dance.

Changing Lights
How many utility trucks does it take to change a lamp in Mountain View? Apparently two, for about 45 minutes. Neither driver providing the other spotting during backup in a heavy pedestrian intersection. They rely upon the noise, and size of their truck. Keep assuming that everyone hears, sees and moves …. Too long, too little. Another unfortunate, ready example of the watchman asleep.
