Is There A Layer There?
What lies beyond the surface? Is there some other layer; dimension?
Photographers are blocked by the camera, to some degree. Some more, some somewhat less. Nevertheless, the first act of photographing is to decide what is eliminated. Every picture has a set of edges.
Are we ever able to get to a plane beyond, without relying upon the viewer?
