When Out On The Street

Remember, there are people you will meet who have never gotten $40 ahead. While you will say that isn’t your fault, I’ll also say it isn’t theirs either.
The world of interaction is never defined by one action. This doesn’t mean you are safe on a street you don’t take responsibility for.

what you didn’t do, will also bite you in your ass

i am not a libertarian

I don’t believe that finance is the ultimate moral stand, nor that economics is the fundamental science. I read Ayn Rand when I was 12 and she was new. She fooled me, until I turned 15.

Wealthy Entitlement, No Longer a Myth

This study comes in a series in which Piff tries to isolate the ways that wealthier people differ socially.  Last year, Piff published a paper showing that wealthy individuals are more likely to exhibit a number of unethical behaviors.   As Piff told New York Magazine last year, “While having money doesn’t necessarily make anybody anything,” Piff says, “the rich are way more likely to prioritize their own self-interests above the interests of other people.  It makes them more likely to exhibit characteristics that we would stereotypically associate with, say, assholes.”
