I don’t know what your dayrate is, but I always measure the difference in price in terms of how many additional billable days it is ie. IQ140 to IQ 160 is about 2 days fees.
So, the question becomes, “Over the expected service life of this back, 3 years or so, can I manage to find just 2 additional billable days”.
The answer is usually, “Hell yes!” –– online advice

My Suggestion

Ask not, what is your day rate, rather, ask, what is your daily profit? Use that to figure the dollar assignment for new purchases.
