What this demonstrates isn’t Newt’s flip flopping. It isn’t that he has nuance, nor is it an example of fallacy or fancy. It is completely, almost academically rigorous in philosophy. It is the rhetoric that shows us what Newt means, but can’t say. What he thinks but will not express. What Newt opposes is Barack Obama. Whatever President Obama does, Newt opposes. That is the hallmark of many, the trademark of some.
