How much film does our expert say is needed to become proficient. What is the measure of that proficiency; that skill gains what? Did he ever make a dye transfer — how is it that none of you ever call him out on it — are you just too polite, or is he you?

expert speaks: you must spend hundreds of dollars to learn the fundamentals. you will use much film, and chemistry (remember he has 25 year old chems — unused)

What the expert is doing is clashing over his point of distinction — knowledge he knows you don’t have —

So, what is it that Jen posted? How many sheets of film does it take to characterize a film for use in making separations for dye transfer printing [assembly processes generally]?

Notice the undertow of violence — eat you alive — a constant danger is posed in his postings. He is a bully; has been bullied; fears punishment for errors. Mistakes have made him so cautious he has never risked enough to advance himself. Now, he holds anyone who asks back — as he was held back.
