he needs the strobes to overcome the sunlight… This is a different in 20 years. Lights are so big, powerful and cheap, that we blast away. given that this is in a time of digital sensors, with their linear response, it means the imagery looks like stuff shot for a 1970 TV show.

The darkroom is the place that few people know about, and fewer people want to be. Those people who understand the work, the amount and skill required for the best of commercial and the finest art are usually unable to afford your work.
Those people unable to do the work at any level are least likely to know what to pay, so they often fall into the price trap of capitalism. They buy the bad stuff, but pay too much.
those who understand can’t afford; those who can afford, don’t understand.
