Just a thought. A few odd, separate events would be explained by a purchase (monetization offer) for Large Format Forum, a gathering of more potential than actual value.
Or, maybe, LFF is going to transition to a new “sponsor,” as he transitions from his faltering consulting business. The common pathway of forum ownership is as a second chance career. Build a little hobby into a medium business.

Everyone Lies
Everyone lies. Fibs, excuses, embellishments — bullshit. Those are so common, we all excuse them, recognizing that is one small part of group entertainment.
On most of the Photo Forums though, it goes much further. There are the Clavins who actualy embellish, and retell as their own, the lies of others. Not a problem- except for the novice. It is hard to tell the Clavins from the others since the Clavins outnumber everyone else.
