when you awake do you look for what’s right, or what’s failed overnight.

growth or gloom .

upon first viewing, do you look for what’s best in the photograph, or what’s the worst . do you teach by pointing out their errors — or, … can you complete the line

can you get past the photograph . can you get past the subject of the photograph.. can you get past the limit you set yourself..

googling has become retroid — I aksed gemini(goog) to characterize “dye transfer webionaire” Err responded with:

Closest camera in the shower

eyes open or eyes shut .. Time looking or time remembering .. seeing something for the Nth time 

Henry Holmes Smith (HHS) Patterns on the shower door ~ Not a camera at hand; the wife is at Kroegers, so shouting isn’t going to help ..

Could I make it out get a camera and return with drip pattern still available –how long can drips stay …

turns out — not long enough. I missed it .

would it be as exciting if I were to simulate it… that’s what HHS did, better than any attempt of mine. I even have the advantage of having seen his work while I was early in my working life .. that’s probably why they stayed with me. frequently I’ve wished I had taken the opportunity, when it was offered me, to attend school has his student . but, as it happens , when you’re young , working in a craft driven mode, expanding beyond the skill of doing is the most difficult part of transition — the transfer into authorship.
